Injured Pup from the Drain Pipe

'Lila' is at the vets being hydrated, given antibiotics, her immune systerm being built back up. She has a broken pelvis. We will learn this morning if surgery is required, since the break is where the femur meets the pelvis....a weight bearing point. They are watching her kidneys as well. We will know more later today. She has exposure issues, parasite issues, nutrition issues....she is about 8 months old. Thank you for any help you can give.

All we know at this point is that a woman in Mt. Vernon saw blood on her street and knew something was injured. She finally found an injured young dog stuck in a drain pipe where it had crawled after being hit. She had to get help the following day to get it from the pipe. She had no funds to vet the dog and has been trying her best to care for it, and has asked for help. He or she is on their way to a vet where we hope this little one can be saved; we hope all the trauma has not done more damage than can be rectified. We know we will need vettng funds.
